Catherine Doyle

Catherine Doyle is an author and we got to go and see her at the library. She talked to us about her new book The Storm Keepers Island.
We got write about our own island and draw it.
The book was about this guy and he got sent to Arranmore island, Co. Donegal to live on with his sister. There are these two storm keepers - one of them is evil and one is not evil and they started to fight and they got tired out and they fell into a deep sleep. They have not opened their eyes in a thousand years and then the evil one finally opened his eyes. The nice one put five gifts on the island there was the wishing cave and the whisper tree and there was three more.
Catherine Doyle has a great book and at school we have two copies of the Storm Keepers Island and I can’t wait to read it.
It was fun going to see her Because we got to listen about the book and what it was about also we got to see pictures of the storm keepers and the island. It was really fun seeing her and the book sounds great and interesting.
