Space Week 4th October - 10th october

This week we learnt about space. We made satellites out of cardboard boxes and tape, also paint and other bits and bobs.
We also found out about a famous Astronaut called Tim Peake he was the first British Astronaut on the ISS. ISS stands for the International Space Station. The ISS has a gym, a lab and a cockpit - it looks really cool but it has wires all over it. The ISS has vertical beds that go on walls to sleep it wouldn't be that comfy but it is for an astronaut.
We also watched you tube clips showing Chris Hadfield carry out every day tasks in space, like brushing your teeth & eating etc.
